Mr. Arvind Vashisht is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at University
College Hospital, London. He has an interest in benign gynaecological conditions
including pelvic floor prolapse, urinary incontinence, ovarian cysts, and hormonal,
menstrual, and postnatal problems. He is a specialist in vaginal surgery and laparoscopic
surgery. Mr. Arvind Vashisht completed his undergraduate training at the University
of Cambridge and was awarded his medical degree with a distinction in Obstetrics
and Gynaecology from the Royal London Hospital Medical School.
He started his junior training at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, with subsequent
registrar training in the North West Thames region. He went on to a one year fellowship
in urogynaecology at St.George’s Hospital and then completed a two year subspecialty
fellowship in urogynaecology at University College Hospital, London. He has been
awarded a higher MD degree from the University of London for work on natural hormonal
treatments for the menopause and has published numerous peer-reviewed papers, reviews
and book chapters. He has presented his research work at many national and international
meetings.
