What is Gynaecology.co?
We are a partnership of three experienced gynaecologists working together to offer
specialist consultations, investigations and treatments to women with benign gynaecological
conditions.
Who are we?
We are three independent consultants with NHS practices at University College Hospital
London, which is a teaching hospital and national referral centre for endometriosis
and urogynaecology. We have private consulting rooms at The Portland Hospital, and
at 78 and 132 Harley Street. We operate privately at The King Edward VIIth Hospital,
The Princess Grace Hospital, and The Portland Hospital. As well as offering conservative
treatments and working with other allied healthcare professionals, we offer most
operations for benign gynaecological conditions with a particular emphasis on minimal
access (“keyhole”) and vaginal surgery.
What is new?
Our ethos is to deliver highly skilled, safe, and reliable care. For this reason
we provide two consultants to operate jointly on all women requiring major surgery.
We believe that this relatively unique model of care leads to maximum efficacy, safety
and delivers the best possible outcome for the patient. The surgical team will consist
of chosen consultant plus one other of the three consultant partners. Your aftercare
will be by one of the three consultant partners.
